This Kore was found in 1882 west of the Parthenon. It is smaller than life size and mended of two joining fragments. The right hand was made separately as was the upper part of the head, the latter having being restored at some point in antiquity.

The Kore wears chiton and over it short himation fastened over her right arm with small painted buttons. The garments are richly embroidered with elaborate motifs on the hem and retain colour traces which have been oxidised today. The hair is kept in place with a stephane decorated with painted meander. The current red colour of the hair may have been the undercoat for their final hue. Around the Kore’s neck a necklace rendered in colour is preserved whereas on her ears she has round earrings.
